hello folks!!

THE W

Android Expert
i got my first smartphone a week ago which was the LG connect 4g for metroPCS. so far i havent had any of the issue many have spoke about on the forum. i've been able to go a whole day without having to charge the phone though i have had to do some things in order to conserve the battery like turning off the 4g, wifi, background data, GPS, and keeping the brightness low(no juicedefender app). i only turn these things on when i need them. i guess having a crappy battery means you cant keep everything on all day.

so far i love the phone and have put all my music on it(bought a 32gb sdcard) and some videos. its a phone, an MP3 player, and a pocket PC all rapped up in one device.

so yeah, im pretty happy.

That's great... I'm glad you are happy. They are a multi purpose device and yes.. most all are battery hogs. They keep adding creature features that we all love and even expect but they haven't figured out how to do it all on such a small power source. My first cell phone's battery was much larger and much heavier than the phone I'm using today and all the phone did was make telephone calls. lol
We've come a long ways in phone and battery technology but the battery tech is a bit behind the device. In any event, below is a link to your phone's discussion home forum. You will definitely want to check out the information there for the latest tips and tricks like battery conservation. Have fun and thanks for joining the community.
