Hello from a former Energy Rom user!

Having a (5?) year old Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 that had its life extended several times by running Energy Rom and finally Opera Mini and Opera 10 with Flash Lite, I really held out on the upgrade path. I was even considering waiting for the quad-core phones we may see late this year, but I went ahead and bit the bullet one day on an impulse-buy and got a Sprint Galaxy S2... and then found out there's no 4G coverage downtown near where I live (yes I should have researched more) and worse, there's NO coverage at my apartment! That's what I get for moving to a valley between 2 mountains.

So with a tear in my eye, I returned the Galaxy S2, will return the airwave repeater when it arrives, and found myself in a Verizon store, finally resigned to paying a premium for 4G and coverage at my apartment.

Now I'm sporting a Galaxy Nexus and, though disappointed with MKV video playback abilities (except for when I use DICE Player), I really enjoy it. I am going to take another look at the Razr Maxx but considering I generally want to keep a given phone for 5 years, a removable battery does factor in.

I am already learning lots of things from this forum (most importantly the debate over task killers -- something very much needed in the WinMo world) and I hope to be able to one day help someone else on this forum out!

Cheers!
