Hello from Toronto! New Galaxy Note owner!

Jemini

Newbie
Hi Folks, just a quick hello!

Got my Galaxy Note today and the S2 for my wife. We are both new to Android so there is lots to learn. So far I'm loving it. I'm a hardcore mac guy but was never impressed with iphones except when they first came out. We've been blackberry users for at least 3 years but because I'm a big media guy I wanted something better to use.

I'll be asking a lot of questions I think for the next week or two. hahaha! Cheers!

It's a pleasure to have you here Jemini and I hope you and your wife enjoy your new phones. We have support areas for both of your phones that you will want to check out... mostly to pick up all the neat tips and tricks for your units. It's always fun to hear what the other users of your device are saying. And.. if you should need some help, they will be there for you. Here are links for your wife's S2. There are a number of different S2 phones so you will have to click on the one that is your phone/carrier.

Wow, that's a wealth of info! Thanks so much! I will be sure to check out the forums.

Buying your wife a more expensive phone is generous lol

Actually the Note was more but we got it on a contract pricing :) Nevertheless, my wife is happy with it so far and that's what's important :)

And thank you too! Really appreciate the welcome, I'll do my best to learn as much on my own and not re-post the same common questions, but as mentioned this is all new to me so be patient :)
