Lurker
Good evening.

I have just spent the past hour composing a lengthy post about my recent experiences with the new to me Android software. On submitting the post I was presented with a message stating I was not allowed to include links or images in a first posting, but alas neither of those were present in my text, thus justifying the title of this post and partially explaining the content of my original tome which I shall now endeavour to submit.

Regards

Welcome to Android Forums, audiodud. :) Thanks for joining the community.

You will want to check in to the forum for your specific device model. You can select it from the list here and join your device's area of support - where you'll be able to find some cool information and will be the best place to get device specific help.

Here is a quote on signatures from the FAQ's sticky in the sub-forum of the introduction forum.

Once you have 25 posts you will be able to display a signature under some of your posts. In an effort to make the forum run as best as it can the signature will only display on your first post per page in a thread it will also display under your "About Me" tab on your profile. If you wish to edit your signature go to your user control panel and click the Edit Signature link in the box on the left.

At the top of the screen you will see a preview of your current signature. Under that is an edit box where you can type out what you want your new signature to be. If you are a premium member you will have a box to add images to your signature under that. Finally there is the save changes button you will hit after you are done editing your signature.

You can use BBCode in your signature. You can have up to 5 lines that are displayed in the signature if you have more than that when you try to save it you will receive an error message. Before saving your signature be sure to preview it to make sure it is to your satisfaction.
