Hi.
I'm a newbie to this forum and I just love the Andorid platform. I'm currently a Sidekick user and I love it to death. However, I am so intrigued by Android's OS. Especially Android 2.0 (Motorola Droid).
I have a prepaid Sidekick and will be switching to Verizon, hopefully so that I can experience an Androido device for the first time. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get the phone on release day. I might get one during Christmas time.
I definitely hate the iPhone. My friend has an iPhone 3GS and it's nothing special, really. I want to be able to bring a phone to him and shut him off and prove that there IS an OS better than iPhone's and there IS a phone better than iPhone. Period.
So, I will definitely be looking around on the forums and participating in discussions. I have to learn a lot about the Android platform, and I'm willing to do it.
