I joined the forum because I need to download the zip file to root my Samsung SGH-T679 Exhibit II 4G (Samsung Ancora) phone - the files worked flawlessly. After rooting I was able to delete my primary Gmail account and use a different, scaled down version. I will be attempting to root my Samsung Galaxy 7.0 Plus Tablet today. Wish me luck.

I am having one heck of a time finding any info on rooting my particular phone...
First off let me say it is a prepaid... in which I had purchased from Walmart about a month ago... What I have is a T-Mobile SGH-T679 Exhibit 4G
I am assuming it is an Exhibit II ... I know from reading around, that it is the newer revision in which one has to use a different method than the standard that happened to be the only one I could find on the net.... sigh ... and everything I did find had broken links..
On the bottom of box on the barcode sticker it says:
