I currently have Sprint and the HTC Hero. I was coming up on my contract end date in a few months so I've been looking at phones. I wasn't too excited about having to pay Sprint's premium data fee (for two lines, my wife and I) seeing as I don't get 4g anywhere near me. I've decided to switch to Verizon, and am currently deciding which phone to get. I think I'm between the Razr and Rezound at this point. We get a discount through either carrier through my wife's job. Only bummer is I found out Verizon only discounts the voice/message portion of the bill. No discount on the 2gb data plan. Also, the lack of unlimited data is easier to swallow at the moment because of the "double your data" promotion that's currently running.
Good news is I got Sprint to waive my ETF, so I'll be getting my new phones any day now. I'll probably go through AmazonWireless seeing as their prices are much easier to swallow at this time.
Either way, I'll probably be mostly lurking and reading up on stuff. Looks like you guys have a wealth of info here.
