Hello all. I am a smartphone newb. 2 weeks ago I got a Samsung Exhibit II 4G. The price point and the T-mobile unlimited (5Gig at 4G) dataplan made it a no-brainer to switch from my old-fashioned no-data Verizon plan. Looking forward to rooting my phone and making it faster. I'm an electrical engineer, and I love Linux. I've "hacked" many TIVOs over the past 10 years, so I'm not afraid to "jump in there". This is the second day I've been on this forum, and I find it to be very useful! Hopefully someday soon I will be able to shed my newb status and help others!
