I have lurked around this forum a bit but decided to join so I can learn more. I was using an iPhone 4 for a little over a year with Verizon but decided to cancel with them and a friend gave me an Evo 4G and I signed up with Ting. The service is good but I am not a huge fan of the phone. So, I thought I might find info here about changing the phone or getting a different one. I am really curious about rooting Android phones and tablets and customizing them. I dont know why I wasnt aware of this before but I love that.

I live in Kansas City, MO and have two daughters who live with me half the time. Other than that, I am a big sports fan, like technology and gadgets and to read.
