Hello

Fluke2910

Lurker
Hello everyone. I am fluke I have been an android user for about 2 years, and I love my galaxy note when it decided it want to work.

I have a problem with my nephews tokio touch, he's locked out. I know this isn't a support section but there isn't a specific forum for this tablet. Where is best to post this or where will I most likely receive the best help?

I'm sorry if it seems like I am posting for support in here I'm not trying to fix the problem here I just want to know where to post.

Thanks

Thank you for your help but unfortunately the solutions there will not work. I don't have the google account, its maxed out of the amount of pattern attempts. It also will not factory reset.

Welcome to the forums :)

If you have tried all of those methods and exhausted them then our only option left is to send it back to the manufacturer and let them reset it.

I was really hoping you weren't going to say that. I might have to do that then although it may cost more than the tablet is worth.

Although I cannot factory reset I can get it to go into updater mode. Is this a precursor to a factory reset. Could this be useful? the message reads "unexpected updater mode please reset your device".

I realise I am now posting for support here and I'm sorry. Thank you both for your help.

It's fine, we are always willing to help out new members. :)

Now if there is any way to reset the device (factory reset) from within that screen do it, because it's pretty much the last option we have.

No unfortunately its just that message. I will continue searching, I have seen a few other people with the same problem but never a solution. I had expected there to be a way to completely wipe the tablet by linking it up to my laptop but it's not the case.

If I do find a solution I will post it here to help anybody else out, but this tablet is so cheap and awful I imagine most people just put them in the bin haha.

Thanks so much for your help.
