Help Help after upgrade on Keis

Logged on to Kies to back up my contacts and was advised that there was an upgrade available.

Did this as normal. Now i get a constant error when sending text or doing anything:

Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped.

I can no longer conect to Kies to do the back up and it is driving me nuts.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

If I were you I'd find a different way to back up your phone, mainly because I hate Kies with a passion.

Or maybe you could just uninstall, then reinstall and don't install the update.

As in uninstal the update? can you do that? if so, how?

No, uninstall Kies entirely and then reinstall. Was the update optional or did it update automatically?

I'm pretty sure there are other ways to back up your phone though.

How do you uninstall all the kies stuff completely from phone? i have sgh 1727, and i did the kies thing, and now there are alll these things in my apps (in 'manage apps' under settings- NOT in apps menu) that are taking up space, but that can not be used or uninstalled, only 'disabled', or is there a way to find out what all these new apps are and a way to use them? Any help would be appreciated. Also, some of my regularly used apps are now not functioning right, or are unusable now.
