Help! AllShare rocks, it's video formats don't! (samsung GS2)

Guys, have been using AllShare on my Samsung GS2 to stream AVI video to my PS3 and it's freekin awesome! So why the he'll does Samaung GS2 video record in 3GP format?? Is there any way / downloadable app I can a)convert the videos within the phone to something like mpeg, avi etc (if I have to drag them onto my PC desk to convert then that sort of defeats the purpose), b)is there an easier way, or c)I'm an idiot and missing something???

From the phone, no. From a computer, yes, there are many many programs to convert video.
