Help an Android Newb out? Best/Needed Apps for Infuse?

Hi there, I just bought my first smartphone ever, the samsung infuse 4g. Being that this is my first smartphone, I was hoping some more experienced folks would chime in on necessary apps to have. Ive read alot and know about titanium backup, clock and weather widgets, and all sorts of things. What are some good ones to have? like the top 10 ? I already got the barcode scanner(savvyshopper) and its awesome and also a few others. Also I was wondering how much data do these apps eat up when used approximately?

personally, i recommend [aa]calwidget[/aa] (which is a nicely customizable agenda widget) and [aa]swiftp[/aa] (which allows you to access your phones files from a computer through a wlan via ftp)

you might also wanna check out some of the alternative launchers / home replacements like [aa]launcher pro[/aa], which will let you customize how the main ui looks and functions
