[HELP] Android Getting Hot w/flashing Red light and not turning on

Hi, i've been having a issue with my tablet/Android which is a XGODY Y10 Plus 6 inch Android 5.1 Smartphone MTK6580. When i charge it, It gets really hot and the plug gets hot aswell untill i unplug it, I toke the battery out last night and put it in this morning and its been dead since, I've put it on charge for 1 hour and a half and its just showing a flashing light, Can anyone help me? Thanks,

Flashing red light often indicates failure to charge. If you are lucky it's a dead battery (the alternatives are more expensive). If the battery is at all swollen then it's definitely damaged and should not be used - they are dangerous when that starts to happen. Rapid drain could also be a sign that the battery was failing.

All I can really say is that device and charger getting hot was a sign that it was drawing excessive current, so this was a serious problem. You were right to stop trying to charge it at that point.
