Hi guys, I am new and I hope this is the right segment to ask this question. I am kind of new to the whole android tablet thing, I have never had one actually but right now I am interested in buying one right now (primarily for watching vids and reading ebooks) I need something within my budget of $50 - $60. I came across some within this price range on a chinese website but I would need some advise before making a decision on which one to purchase. Below are the various processors/ specs of the tablets :

processor: Nvidia Tegra K1 ARM Cortex
memory: 2gb
Processor Main Frequency:2.2GHz
Operating System: Android 4.0

processor:ATM7029B / ATM7021A/Cortex
Memory Capacity:1GB
Processor Main Frequency:1.6GHz
Processor Type: ATM / ARM,VIA
Operating System:android 4.2

Processor Type: Allwinner A31 Quad-Core
Processor Main Frequency:1.0GHz
Memory Capacity:2GB
Operating System:Android 4.1

processor:RK3188 ARM Cortex-A9
Processor Manufacture:Rockchip
Memory Capacity:2GB
Processor Main Frequency:1.8 GHz
Operation System::Android 4.2 tablet pc

So which would you guys suggest is best among this list ? I would also appreciate if you guys could point out other good android tablets within the $50 - $60 price range. I look forward to some advise. Thanks

Personally I would steer clear of any Chinese tabs or phones, as they are prone to issues. Lot of threads posted in this very section from folk who have a variety of problems with various Chinese devices. If I was to make a recommendation for a tab I'd see if you could get a deal on a Kindle Fire or a Nexus 7 - especially if you are in the US. If you can find one a 2012 N7 would meet your needs, and if you spot a deal on a 2013 N7 even better. Might be more than your budget though but imho way better value in the long run. Just my opinion [emoji4]

Doesn't mean new either, I bought a manufacturer refurbished N7 2013 after a long search (im in UK and they are getting really hard to find now over here) and would have no hesitation in recommending going refurbished route. As long as it's manufacturer refurb or a larger seller with at least 1 yrs warranty.

Not best placed to advise for US but there were deals going in Staples, Amazon did have something going for Kindle Fire, eBay still deals from US sellers but it wasn't worth it for me when factoring in shipping costs and import duty, even Swappa maybe. As ever Google is your friend [emoji6]
