help...application button missing on home page

I have a motorla droid - yesterday i wanted to drop an application in the trash. when i moved it there, it didn't turn red like it usually does, but it just stuck there. Now i don't have my button to access my apps and have a app stuck there. how do i get rid of it and get my app/trash button back. using adw...thanks! read a lot here but never posted. i can usually find my answer, but not this time

i have the same problem. My application button/icon is missing in my live home launcher.
I cannot find it anywhere. Help please???

Uninstall then reinstall your launcher. Or clearing data in manage applications might also work.
