I revently bought a phone and tried to unlock it on the website. However, the phone had no SIM. The website asks for a phone number but the phone does not have one. Does that mean I can't unlock the phone? Thank you!

Help! AT&T Unlock

Did you just buy an AT&T phone without the SIM? If yes, can you pick up a SIM from and AT&T store and use the number from that just to unlock the device.

Why you need a number? To unlock your phone you only need the phone's IMEI which you can find it by dialing *#06#
The process will often differ from network to network and country to country.
