HELP! Bricked MXQ Pro but can still connect to PC

Hi all,

While updating the firmware on my MXQ Pro box there was a power glitch at the NAND formatting stage and it now has no light and no output on the display. However, I could still connect to it using the PC Upgrade method (USB burning tool) but any update would fail at the 4% mark and return an "Enum device error."

Also, when I flashed it using the PC before, it would fail if the Erase Bootloader option was checked but if I turned this option off, it could finish flashing the NAND. Why was it the case? The Forced Erase option did not work either.

Could anyone tell me how I unbrick it? Would the NAND short pin method work in this case? The BOOTSD method did not work.

Update:

I used the other USB port and was able to flashed it back to life. However, the led light is reverse with this ROM. Off/Standby is blue light and On is no light.

Also, with the "Erase Bootloader" option was enabled when attempting to flash, USB burning tool would come up with an error and stopped so I had to turn it off for it to work. What does this option do?

Also, I could not get into the Recovery Mode using the tooth-pick method (>30 sec press). It went straight into the Android main menu. It looks like the box lost this function after I managed to flash it with the Geekbuying firmware for this MXQ Pro box. The box seems to be working OK with a few quirks but it lost the ability to get into the Recovery mode.

Is there a way to restore the Recovery mode?
