Help! Cant delete instant upload pictures?!

i just got my Samsung stratosphere a week ago. The second i signed onto my Google account to sync all my contact info etc to the new phone, it also put pictures on there from an old phone. my last phone (PANTECH BREAKOUT) did the same thing. when i try to delete these pictures, the only options it gives me are: slideshow, more> details, share> wi-fi, v cast media manager, messaging, Bluetooth, email and gmail....there are no delete options whatsoever. i want some of these pictures gone! how do i do this. its getting on my nerves...

Go to menu>settings>accounts and sync>google account>remove the sync for Picasa. They can't be deleted because its just an Album viewer.
