Help! Can't download photos.

Can someone help me. I still have my old htc Android phone and use to be able to download my photos to my computer but I had to switch to a life line phone. Anyway, I still use my android to take photos but can no longer sync up with my computer to download my photos taken by my htc android phone. I then unistalled the htc drivers and don't know who to get them back. Can someone please help me? Pleeeeeeeaaase?

Hello and welcome to the forums Monika - thanks for joining!! :)

When you connect your phone to the computer (I am assuming that you use a Windows PC), you should be able to pull down the notification bar at the top of the screen and then press on the USB symbol. This should then let you choose to connect as USB mass storage. Once you have done that, you should be able to browse the phone as if it was just a USB memory stick. The photos should be in a folder called "media", "camera", "photos" or "DCIM" (or something similar). You should then be able to copy the pictures to your PC and shouldn't need the HTC drivers (I never use HTC Sync to do anything with my phone).

Let us know if this helps... if not, then I'm sure we will be able to point you in the right direction :)

EDIT - ninja'd by Rush while I was typing!! :)
