Help Help! Cant play music from SD card anymore!!

I have a droid2, verizon, have 32gb sd card, listened to music on it for last 2 months, worked great, no real problems til i tried to add music. have tried to add music, caused stuttering problems, then reformat the card and recopy music (with additional music) and now doesnt play files at all! When i take the sd card out, all music apps still think the music is there... Uninstalling and reinstalling the music apps does nothing to change this... Is there anyway to reset registry for the phone's internal memory with doing a factory reset?

I am having this EXACT problem!! Significantly similar, as I, myself, am running a Droid 2 with a 32 GB sd micro that I upgraded to from an 8 gb.. which also was working great with winamp.. all the files synced and the device was discoverable, but then suddenly, it did the unelectable!! It wouldn't show my playlists, they disappeared entirely! I deleted everything on the card... put stuff back on, tried deleting and reformating the card, even uninstalled and reinstalled Winamp Droid app along with the PC version!! Everything including the droid os was up-to-date.. WHATS GOING ON? I know it's worked before.. I have managed to get the phone to show up on "discovering devices." again.. as that had stoped working as well as my phone shows up as a removable disk drive again too from the problem of it showing up as an optical drive.. but even when I transferred new playlists over.. Winamp shows them now.. but is EXTREMELY laggy and constantly shows the blue loading gear, and taking 30 sec to change songs in the new playlists, then ends up randomly having to force close most of the time.. for who knows what reason!! I am rambling on and on about EVERY DETAIL of this problem, because I don't see it voiced much .. and at least I know that someone else out there is having similar issues as well, so hopefully, our voices will be heard, and someone with an amazing phone fixing skills, might shed some light on the musical darkness we're all facing! I miss my tunes.... :*-( plz help us on this! THNX!
