Help....change my phone number back

When i went to another country I changed my phone number linked to my phone for android app downloads , but now I returned I want to change back But I cant find how to do so , so I am unable to download new apps using Google play,Any help how and where are the links to change phone number I cant find!!
 
Where did you change it in the first place?

Didn't know you could link a,phone number. Mine has always used my gmail address
 
Yeah, like SUroot said, the Play Store is dependent on your Google login, not your phone number. Did you just swap SIMs? Have you tried clearing data/cache from the Play Store and re-login?
