Help Help! Charging

My samsung galaxy reverb died and when I try to start it to goes to the "samsung" page where it glows for about 3 seconds and then shuts off. It's not charging anywhere in this process. This also happened a few days ago (where I wouldn't charge) but then it wasn't dead so I just turned it off and then on again and it charged then.

You could try turning it off completely by removing the battery for a minute or so, then see whether it's any better after that. But if this is the second time I suspect there is a real problem here (if you are lucky maybe the battery rather than the phone).
