HELP! Completely mind boggled.

So, as you all probably know by now i'm new. and i'm completely new to the android world. I have been a blackberry user for a very long time.

2 days ago I got an android (htc hero) and I would love it if anyone could give me some basics or someplace to go so I can get the hang of things.

I'd like to know about how to use/get themes, apps that are a must, if I should update my firmware, etc etc.

If anyone has tips or can point me in the right direction, pleassse do so. I would very much appreciate it!

Firmware updates are OTA unless you plan on rooting in and installing different firmware/themes yourself.

As for applications, just think of anything you want/need and theres probably one for it. I personally don't use that many.

I can't help you with the theme, I don't know anything about the HTC Sense UI so the HTC Hero dedicated forum may be a better option for more specific questions.
