Help Help? Confused how carriers work...

I've got my heart set on a new M9, but I'm not a contract person. So I'm going to buy it outright for the $650, and the sprint website says it will then be factory unlocked. Does that mean I can then activate it on my Boost Mobile account? It's still sprint towers, would seem logical, right?

I'd suggest checking with Boost Mobile.

On a GSM network you just stick your SIM in, but CDMA phones need to be registered with the network. As I'm European I know nothing about Boost's policies here, or Sprint handsets, so I'd get a definite answer from the carrier before spending the money.

Are there any GSM networks comparable to Boost or Virgin Mobile? Pay as you go, as opposed to contact

I'm European, so have little familiarity with US virtual operators. You mean comparable in terms of price, coverage in your area? It might be worth asking in the Device/Carrier Comparisons subforum.
