HELP - Emojis

So this is getting really anoying. I noticed that my gboard has done changes to the emoji bar without updating. The emoji search bar is gone, and all the different types of emojis have been moved to the top. I tried installing the app again, and for the first few seconds it works fine, and then the gboard dissapears for a few seconds and pops up again with the emoji search bar gone and replaced with the emoji selector.

I have included pictures, i want my emoji bar to look like what it does in the white theme picture.

That is strange. I just checked and mine is like the white picture. What happens if you click the search icon on the upper left in the dark picture?
