I had a similar problem: PC refused to see the smartphone's internal memory (SD card saw). To treat an update from the developer. Maybe you can help - try to find another firmware version. The likelihood that you will be able to fix the problem dotted extremely small.

In Windows you have to "Share" the folder to let others see its contents. On your PC, if you right click on the folder you want to see on your tablet, select properties and select the Sharing tab, then click "Share" and take it from there.

I'm stumped. I can't even get that far with my tablet. It keeps asking for a password which I don't have. I know to share folders which works OK with other PC's on the network but so far I have had no luck wirelessly. It works if I connect with a USB cable.

Windows 10 will not file share from your mobile device. Microsoft added security that basically killed it. If you use Windows 8 or earlier it'll work fine.

There is no know exposure using ES on a device.

There is a known exposure using ES to access another device. Providing a username and password to ES is absolutely fine if you want a copy sent to the home office in China.

I only use ES for testing, I never give it any user name or password. For daily use I use Solid Explorer File Manager.
