Help HELP!!! Galaxy Ace s5830 wont turn on

Hi guys, im hoping you can help me...

i bought my cousins Galaxy Ace off of her a few months ago and it was working fine, its was only 6 months old. about a month ago it started turning itself off and then one day it turned off completely and wouldnt turn on. Someone recommended getting a new battery. I have and it wont turn on/charge/do anything....could you guys possible help...thank you!
 
Was the device rooted?
Have you checked if the charger is working or not? Try the charger on another phone.
Did you do any root related activity on the device? If yes, then what was the last thing you did?

As far as I am aware it's not rooted! I have no idea how to do it and my cousin has said she didnt either!

The charger definitely works too!
 
Leave it on charge for at least 24 hours before trying to turn it on. Let us know what happens.
 
Hiya, to keep you updated! I've left it charging and still no sign of life!

Anything else you can think of for me to try?!?
 
Bad connection between the microUSB connector and the motherboard? Bad charging circuitry on the motherboard?
 
Since the phone is not showing even the slightest signs of life, there isn't much you can do about it.
I would suggest taking it to the service center, they can diagnose the problem much quickly.
 
I have some good news! I took it to a phone shop and they managed to get it turned on! They wiggles the battery and pressed a few buttons!

However, now it says its low on disk space and it won't receive messages...I have a sim and all apps are downloaded on to that and I can't delete any programmes on the phone itself...any ideas for that?!?

Wipe some cache off your system. You can install an app from play store to do that or you can use the recovery menu to wipe the cache partition.
 
Hi kibble1, do you know what buttons your guys pressed? I have the same problem in that the phone won't turn on just with the battery (only when it's plugged into the mains) even though the battery is full. Samsung's phone line weren't very helpful..

If its a S5830 without the 'i', u can try pressing volume down + power on button to get into the download mode. then u can flash stock firmware using odin.
