Hello and welcome to our community. If there is an update available for your device..but your phone doesn't have the update available for you, then there are two other options: Wait until the update is push to your device (updates are push to phones according to their serial numbers). Or, contact the manufacturer for instructions on how to get the update flash to the device. You may have to send the device to them. Good luck. :)

Hello and welcome to Android Forums. Most often, an OTA upgrade will be pushed to your phone when available. When you check your phone and it says that there is no update available there usually isn't one. However, to satisfy your curiosity as to the current version your phone should be using, you will want to check in with the other owners of your device and see what they are running. Here is a link to the area of your phone's discussion. Samsung Galaxy S - Android Forums Thanks for using these forums. I hope you enjoy your time here.
