I recently formatted my Samsung j3 and sd card (cause it was running slow) and I tried to download my music into my sd card and it says that the external storage isn't available but it shows up on my phone. Even in other Google apps, I was able to choose my sd card. I don't think it has anything to do with the card its self but I don't know. If anyone knows anything I'd appreciate the help. ^-^

I believe it only can access the internal storage
I can confirm Google Play Music can definitely see and play music stored on the SD. Check its permissions haven't been restricted?
