Help HELP!! HTC 626 boot loop and no access to recovery

Hello,

I have been looking all over internet to fix this issue. I've tried apply a twrp image and since then mobile keeps on reboots and i'm unable to access recover or do anything.

Any help will be most welcome :(:(:(:(

So how did you try to install twrp? Which twrp image did you use? Did you try to use it after installation?

If you installed a bad download, or worst a twrp that was built for another device, that could produce these results, but we need more info to be sure.

I used twrp from google store. where it wants to install twrp boot image I use the latest version provided..

i'm sorry not really used to do these things. I've recently install kingo root application and root phone with the app to have access .

When applying the twrp image phone got rebooted in loop non stop.

I'm more sure I applied a twrp for another device.

What are the details that you need please need help.

I would never touch Kingo myself, though you would hope that the official TWRP app would get this right. Why did you not simply unlock the bootloader and flash the TWRP image using fastboot?

The most important thing we need is your cidnum. You can get this by installing fastboot on a computer (from HTCdev.com, or see the "adb faq" in the FAQs section of the forum here), putting the phone into fastboot mode, connecting via USB and using the command "fastboot getvar all". If there is a reason you can't do that then knowing the country and carrier it was originally sold to should let us work it out.

This information is needed to find the correct RUU (ROM Update Utility) to reflash the device back to stock. That is the simplest fix I can think of. Alternatively if you can unlock the bootloader you could try flashing a new TWRP then see whether you can use that to fix it.

Thanks Hadron, was able to flash with SP Flash Tool and got a default rom on http://www.needrom.com/ now my phone is back running but lost everything, but fortunately phone is back.

Now the thing is that there is a chinese version firmware on the phone even if same is set to English.

I want to install custom firmware back or 5.0 - 6.0 and upon checking in recovery which is now accessible there is no fastboot etc only basic options.

Can you help me there.

Fastboot is accessed via the bootloader, not from recovery. Try booting while pressing volume down, then if that takes you to hboot rather than fastboot mode just select fastboot from the hboot menu.

To install a custom recovery using fastboot you'll need to unlock the bootloader. Instructions for this can be found at htcdev.com.

Do you have a Desire 626 or a 626s? That might be something to watch out for with recoveries, since they are not identical.
