AS far as I know you cannot get TWRP from play. Try to articulate what steps you took, or if you used a guide, link that, so someone can try to help.
There is a TWRP app, and if you are rooted it claims to be able to update recovery for you. Personally I've never used it, and would always use fastboot to flash a recovery image.
So I assume that your phone is rooted and you tried to use this to install or update TWRP? But as Unforgiven says it's no good our guessing what has happened, you need to tell us all of the details (don't worry about too much information, the problem is if you leave out something important).
