Hi My Name is Shirley Unwin ,and I am a British Citizen but living in Switzerland and we are all locked in. I am 86 years old and not at all Techie and this is new to me so please help. My Samsung Galaxy note 8 has the Beta programme full and I have to installed the new What's app. The last date to do that was March 30 so that now when I go to the Google Play store and click on What's App in just says install. So that is my dilemma . Please help.. Thanks Shirley

Yes that is correct . It tries to install and goes round and round and round and can't install. Beta drive is full. Thanks Shirley

I can think of two possible options, the first is to uninstall your current version and then try to install the newest bata version. However, its a bit of a risk. You could be unable to install and thus left out of bata completely.
The second, would be to search for an alternative app store. I should warn that downloading outside Google PS can be a security risk. Apk Mirror is run by Android Police and is considered safe. Its a decision each to their own.

Check XDA developers sure. They will the latest updated. You will if course have tick the box in settings to 'allow unknown sources' but their site is safe and well have the latest and greatest software tester and ready for d/l hth!

Hi Shirley, I would suggest you unsubscribe from the Beta Program, it's actually something that more advanced users sign up for. There are instructions on how to unsubscribe here:
https://developers.google.com/android/guides/beta-program

Once you do that, it's not a requirement but just to make for a clean start, restart your Note 8. Now tap on the Play Store icon and try to install the WhatsApp app.
