I successfully (I guess) downloaded the Android 2.1 update, got it onto the phone as directed, exited File Transfer Mode as directed, but nothing happens!
Is there a way to manually run "updatelauncher?" What do I do now?
EDIT: NEVERMIND!
Figured out what I was doing wrong. I was putting the "Update" folder in the top-level folder on the phone. There is another folder there called "Garmin." The Update folder goes inside that one.
That makes it launch automatically, as advertised.
Whoopee, I'm on my way to 2.1!
