Help! I hate help adding pics to text messages.

I am a new Note 5 owner. Whenever I click a picture in my text messages, I get this scrolling gallery at the bottom.

This prevents me from seeing the whole picture I'm viewing.

Is there any way to shut this feature off? I am literally considering returning the phone over this. It's driving me crazy.

get a file explorer from the play store (id suggest efs file explorer) and then when you go to add a picture it should ask you if you want to use the file explorer or the gallery, just choose the file explorer (i know with efs you will be able to see the entire picture)

if it doesnt give you the option to choose which app you want to use to select the image, you will have to go to manage apps and find the messaging app and clear the cache/data...or maybe clear the cache/data of the gallery app? but im pretty sure after you install the file explorer it will ask if you want to use that
