HELP! IE for Droid?

I just picked up my Moto Droid and may have to return it since my email system is a hosted online system and requires Intellesync and Windows Explorer!

Please someone, tell me there is a way to install Windows IE on the droid!

Well, I don't think there will ever exists a browser for mobile that will be able to interpret ie especific pages. I could bet that even a windows mobile with ie mobile isn't able to open that page.

If I were you, I would try another aproach like trying to connect to your email account by exchange, imap or pop3 protocol. Those are supported by almost all smartphones.

Talk to your email admin to see if any of these options are available.

I don't even use IE on my computers... Talk to your email host about pop3, imap, exchange etc.

Unfortunately the mail service is web hosted and requires intellesync and IE 7.

ACK!

I really like the phone so far too but I may have to go with a Windows Mobile (HTC Imagio). :(

test that phone out in the store BEFORE you return the Droid to make sure it will do what you need. Sorry, but I haven't see any web hosts that didn't offer some type of mail access other than just browser-based.
