HELP! Is my Hero bricked?

I apologize if this has been answered, but I wanted to post the image on my phone:

I followed HTC's instructions, and went through the RUU wizard. Everytime it stated "rebooting bootloader" the error would come up "USB not connected" and now my phone looks like the attached image. I was going from 1.5 to 2.1.

Any help, or links, would be greatly, greatly appreciated!!!!

I know nothing about a Hero and its rooting process, but if you can boot into bootloader I'm pretty sure it's not bricked. Bricked would be "can't turn on at all."

naaah,you screwed your phone 'cos of bad drivers.
I would guess you have win 7.
get proper drivers and start all over again.
