Help making outgoing calls

I have a Motorola droid 2 A955, when I make outgoing calls a voice comes on to redial the number. Even from my contact list. How do I stop that?
 
You probably have Accessibility turned on.
From home screen,
Press "Menu" (far bottom left, looks like a group of 4 squares)
Press "Settings",
Scroll all the way down and
Press "Accessibility"
Make sure "Voice Readouts" is unchecked.
Try that.
