Help me choose!

Hi everyone!

I have finally decided to buy a new phone and have waited to see what CES 2013 brought. I am now wondering if I should wait until the Xperia Z is released in the UK (mid February) or just buy the Galaxy S3 now. If I wait until February then MWC happens and I will probably want to wait again, then the S4 will be announced etc. so I am wondering if it is better just to buy the Galaxy S3 now.

I want the phone mainly for music, web browsing and gaming and from what I have read there is only one benchmark where Adreno 320 thoroughly bests Mali 400MP, in all others it is a very minor victory and considering the Xperia Z has twice the pixels is worth the wait or will it perform worse in games/emulators.

The Mali 400MP in the S3 currently runs any emulator/game on the market and also how future proof is it compared to the Adreno 320? At worst it will run games at lower settings?

Otherwise I care little for the improved screen (they are both awesome) or UI customizations. The Xperia Z will probaly have better battery life at stock but the Galaxy S3 can have an upgraded battery (that will likely be better) so I wonder if it is worth the wait?

I have moved this thread into the Device Comparison forum since you are comparing some devices you want.

If anything maybe wait until they announce the Galaxy S4. It should be coming out Q1/Q2 of this year.

Sorry about posting in the wrong forum, didn't see the subforum.

Waiting until the S4 is announced probaly would be a good decision, or at least MWC. At least then if I still want the S3 the price will drop.

Thanks
