Help me go Full Screen

Is there anyway to go full screen in any browser. When I watch movies and record video I do not want to see the notification bar. I can hide the one at the bottom but not the top. I do not want to see nothing but what I am watching. I tried to follow some steps on another site but they never worked.

Usually when you press the full screen button on the video, nothing should be showing unless you tap the screen

It does on youtube. But when i am watching live streams it will not go away.
