Root help me out some im new to android rooting and recovery and roms

hi i need some help i got my apex to root im on 2.2.2 and she is rooted but some things i like to know are how do i get in to recovery mode and can i use aney rom on my android or do i need 1 made for the apex i thank you all for the help and hope u have a nice day

Rom Manager is great for making backups and installing ROMs. And yes, you do have to make sure that the ROM you have is compatible with your device.
