Help me see hidden settings

Help! I recently downloaded a hidden settings app and one of the menu options says an Activity Picker. After clicking it lists a bunch of shady options. What does this do? After clicking on one of the options it does nothing.

I think we'll need more information in order to help you. But why assume any activity you don't understand is "shady"? There are a lot of processes and activities in these devices which are not usually seen, and also many properties and actions which you do see but probably don't realise have a name. That's the way computers are, and a computer is what a smartphone is.

We need to know what the name of the app is, where you found it, where you downloaded it from, etc.

Also, the make, model, and OS of your device could be helpful.
