Help me with hard drives please

I have had this box close to a month, fun and lots and lots of reloading lol

I found a program that permanently roots my usb ports,ever time a usb

Stick or drive i plugged in it reads internal storage

I finally made my perfect build the one you backup every move but then the internal

Drive was full nothing worked all the work gone

I haven't even tried to or going to program it. I quit with the basics i tried and payed

For every app programs you tub the Web every where I even have apps that take me

To the root but I never learned unix Linux just dos batch reg system etc

I know that you all are very busy and my typing sucks

Please I'm desperate i have a 1 terabyte drive dying to let me do what I backup

Dowload but I can't use it

Please please help me and borrow your time thanks

I always like that response, no I'm 100 percent American, But I have severe adhd with learning and

Speech problems( I speak talk etc but trying to get what I'm thinking out or out right otherwise

My problem is number on mxq drive is full. number two i found a app that programs the rooot

That all usb slots are internal drives . but it won't give me the option to merge, teether them.

I have a one tb drive i want to use to make the big kodi build i lost because of space.

Last i have no clue how to do or use Unix or Linux which I am pretty sure is what the root is.


The rest I'm Dan , disabled. electronics tec networking, with adhd if I can touch it while reading

Or you tube i can fix it, I'm into music i could go without TV permanently, i hate rap or screaming

Music, my dad raised me on classical, Orson wells original war of the world's if it catches my ear

I will listen to it, i love cars, crown vics h1 civilian and military hummers most people don't know

That there is no difference between military and civilian there both h1 class h2 h3 went to cheap

Crap frames no tire inflation etc. I just love working on things, and I love helping people

Hi Dan...

What version of Android is your TV box running.

Are you referring to "adoptive memory" which is a feature of Android 6 (Marshmallow) that allows you to add a drive and format it as "internal" memory.

I'm not sure how you can 'root' USB ports but you CAN back up your KODI settings to any external drive.
It does not have to register as 'internal' and can be any USB drive or stick or even an SD card.

I understand how important this is for you as you have almost no space on the internal memory of the box.

I guess it's just not possible to get any closer than it is at least being listed as internal programs
