i just got this device and it went odd on me. specificly there was an internal sd error and it remounted the fs ro. so it wont install software saying i have no storage, even after i wiped the int sd added external sd and remounted the whole nand rw in adb.
to add to that while i was in there i thought it clever to free some nand space by deleting the facebook and twitter apps from /system/preinstall/ now it wont factory reset because it cant find what its looking for. maybe a checksum thing.
now it boots only with no external card in the slot and shows nand as full, wont install apps. if i hold the reset button in while plugging in it lights power and flashes the other led and does nothing. with the external sd in the power light comes on and does nothing. both lights should come on with a proper boot. the good thing is i still have root shell via adb.
the device is the mini mk802 11 thats not got hdmi plug on the end but a socket for hdmi cable. it also has a 3.5 jack for audio and a/v out. the seller listed the model as mk80s but i doubt he knows. cpu shows as sun 5i which is allwinner a10, listed ram is 1g but on /proc it reads 850 or thereabout so a bit must be reserved for the mali400.
i really hope one of you folk either knows how i can fix it, or maybe you have the same type and can give me the files i deleted or even a whole image. i would try one of the cooked firmwares but they ask for apps to be installed prior, and i cant do that.
i have to work with adb or the other google sdk tools and i run debian not windows. i have no access to windows.
i just did another fsck_msdos and fixed more errors. it still shows the internal memory as full, although i now have the internal sd card back.
heeeellllp meeeee!
