Try to summarize your descriptions more. Just cut to the chase get the point across real quick and simple, if it's too long it's likely the person reading hundreds of applications won't even bother reading it and if it's too short they don't know what you're trying to say.

Also make sure it's only one page. I've heard from a number of people who work in Human Resources that the standard is one page, and some even throw away or don't even read resumes if they're over a page.

Leave the wanted salary off. Your goal is to get an interview and get the company interested. You can negotiate your salary when it comes up.

For your courses/IT skill set, it repeats itself. You can condense the two into saying "Proficient with: C++, Java, ......"

thank you,I'll think about that.

thank you, I 'll put it in pdf format later.

As your evidently in Dalian, Liaoning province, nice city by the way. Something you might find useful before emailing your resume off in the PDF format to Chinese companies, organisations and institutions. Many computers I've found here, especially the ones running XP have no PDF viewer installed, and so some perspective employers may not be able to view your PDF resume.

I've found it best to send the resume off in MS Word .doc format (NOT .docx), also send my resume in JPG format as well. That way whatever POS computer they're using, even if it doesn't have MS Word, they should be able to view my resume.

I second the idea that a resume should be no more than ONE page.

I do want to point out that you listed your English writing skills as excellent, and if that were the case then obviously you wouldn't be asking for help here. I'm not trying to be rude but if you were to get a position which required you to write in English you may be in trouble since it was misrepresented in your resume. Just a thought.

Actually, I have no problem with reading and listening, because I learn English by reading and watching movies, but I Rarely write and speak in English. and compared to my friends I think my English is very good.....

Whatever,I will take your advice ,change the English Level.

Have you been to DaLian before? It's really a nice city, beautiful and comfortable. especially in summer.I spent my time of university in this city.
I am in beijing now.

A few simple suggestions.

  • Get rid of the exclamation mark behind menu cards. This is resume, not a novel.
  • Move Education and Training and place it after self assessment. You have only been away from college for a year. Your employee will probably still be interested in your education. And oh, include your exam results if they are good. Otherwise just omit it.
  • For language skills, instead of splitting it into two sections. Just write "English: Fluent". (Who cares even if it is not fluent. Your boss is not going to make you sit through an English paper. Just make sure you can up for the interview.) And where's Chinese?
  • Remove years of experience in basic info. It makes no sense. Experience in what? Bed making?
  • Fix that indentation in Self Assessment. Get rid of it.

I have no doubt that your reading and listening level is very good, I was specifically talking about your writing level.
