Help HELP! MY HTC ONE MINI KEEPS SHUTTING DOWN!

Lurker
I my htc one mini two weeks ago and it has been working pretty well. However, it shut down when I tried to make a phone call today. It has done the same thing about ten times today. If I call or pick up a phone call, it shuts down. I've done uninstalled all my apps and done a factory reset and I keep getting the same response. What should I do?

Does it shut down if you do other things which increase power drain, e.g. start up Google Maps (GPS + mobile data + screen should add a fair power drain)? If so that would suggest a problem with the battery or power circuitry.

If it really is just turning off, and you've already done a factory reset, I'd get it repaired or replaced (2 weeks old I'd try for replacement as it's been sold with a fault, but it may depend on where you are and what consumer laws are in your country).

Thank you. Really it just goes off itself. In fact, it just went off and has refused to come back on. It was definitely sold with a defect.
