HELP! My Phone doesn't turn on!

I have been suffering with this problem! First, my phone turns off (because of low battery). Then, when I charge it, it gets hot and doesn't turn back on!
I recently changed my battery icon when turned off using ROM toolbox (maybe thats the reason why this happened).
So, how can I fix my problem?

I'm running with a custom rom with android 4.1.1.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums. Hopefully I can help you with your problem.

I would go into your recovery. Hopefully you are running either CWM or TWRP. Wipe the cache, Dalvik cache and then do a factory reset.

You may need to change ROMs too since you are running a custom ROM.

There is also the chance that your battery is going bad. You may want to check that out too. If the battery is going bad and getting hot it could end up ruining your device.

One more note..... Even though ROM Toolbox has those options, it doesn't mean they will work for your device. In fact, they may end up damaging it. Please keep that in mind when using those apps and changing your ROM.

I would like to tell you more information about what is really happening...
My battery doesn't really have problems, it is my phone that is having problems.
I can't go to recovery anymore (That's because my phone has 0% battery)
and as I've said, I can't charge when my phone's off...
How do I fix this problem? Is there any way? Should I flash something?
