anyone have any ideas as to why my S8 screen is very erratic and has a mind of its own when typing in passwords etc.... once ive started typing it just continues on its own without me touching the screen ( i thought it was maybe an app but it still does it even after a factory reset HELP!!!!!

I'm not sure what the solution is. But just to comment on one part, you said you factory reset your phone in order to see if it's a third party app that's doing it.
Just an idea for future, u can go into safe mode and try again. What safe mode does is, it disables all downloaded apps. And it allows you to see if the issue comes from downloaded apps or apps that come with the phone
