Root Help needed with unlocking bootloader, please

nypoon

Newbie
Greetings, I've tried various methods for bl unlock posted here and xda, but none of them work for me.
My device is D320n, EU if that makes difference. Here are some outcomes of unlocking methods:
  • LG Laf Recovery Multitool - pressing unlock (z) writes something in console for like 0.001s then it disappears, while phone reboots normally
  • Fastboot way (MikeHoncho's post) it can't find laf.img, nothing happens, going to fastboot mode brings up LG's download mode
I haven't had any luck with rooting either, towelroot says the device isn't supported.
Here's info screenshot

I've spent too much time on this now without a clue and my head's gonna explode in a minute.
Any help is appreciated <3

you will need to root your device first in order to unlock bootloader

Tell me your software version? you will need 10c version for LG L70 D320n to root your device, if your device is already with 10c version firmware, follow this step

open towelroot and tap on "welcome to towelroot v3" 3 times, it will prompt a "console"

change 1337 0 1 0 4 0
to 1337 0 0 0 40

once done, and if your device doesn't reboot, you're already root :)

flashing V10c results in a bootloop while ms232 doesn't work right out of the box

EDIT: PurpleDrake Lite works http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/root-root-lg-g3-easily-purpledrake-lite-t2821000
When you flash 10c, enter factory reset mode and do a factory reset. How to enter: Power on the device while holding volume down, when lg logo comes, release power (not vol down) and after a second or two hold power again. It will ask you twice to do factory reset. Manipulate with volume buttons (up/down) and power button (OK). Only then will 10c boot successfully after flash :)
