Root Help! New recovery downloads

im having trouble comprehending the new recovery downloads. i dont understand the difference between rfs version and ext2 version i also dont understand the difference between the cookie cutter roms and what we are supposed to do. Could someone please explain this in more detail becuase im having a very hard time understanding.

RFS & EXT2 are file systems. I went EXT2 for speed. After installing the recovery just install one of the two roms. (depending on which file system you went with.)

what do you exactly mean by speed? and is the other version slower in some way?
also can you use this with galaxy rom

for the galaxy rom use the rfs recovery. Google to learn about rfs & ext2 file systems.

Thanks searched it up and found a few about them

ext2 apparently runs of sd card or something like that

rfs i still dont completely understand
